Q: What is a zine?
— A zine is a collection of fan works, ranging from fanfiction to artwork, displayed in a magazine-like format by individual contributors.Q: What is the theme of the zine?
— It will be a general theme with only official Joseph skins available. Collaborated skins (youkai, summer, etc.) are also allowed.Q: How many contributors will be included?
— We will be accepting 20-25 artists and 5 writers. This is inclusive with the guests.Q: Will there be any ships in this zine?
— As this zine mainly focuses on Joseph, there will be no ships allowed. However, implied shipping (such as no explicit kissing, holding hands, etc.) is allowed, but Joseph MUST be seen as the main subject.Q: Will there be any guest writers/artists?
— Yes. Their names will be listed here once confirmed.Q: Are the contributors allowed to collaborate with each other?
— Yes, however it will be limited in numbers.Q: Is there anyone prohibited from applying to the zine?
So long as you meet the age requirement and follow the application guidelines, your application will be considered. Ship preferences will not be taken into account when judging applications; however, we ask that anyone with a history of harassment over ship preferences kindly refrain from applying.Q: How will the contributors be compensated?
— Should profits be made, all contributors will receive a full-resolution PDF and full physical bundle for free. Monetary compensation will be distributed fairly amongst the contributors. For minors, however, it cannot be given unless there is a guardian to receive it for them.Q: Will there be international shipping?
— Yes, though this is impacted by circumstances regarding the pandemic and political situations occurring across the globe. Physical orders placed from Russia will be held by the shipping moderator until packages are able to be sent to Russia once more.
APPLICATIONS
In order to participate in this project, you must have Discord. The vast majority of communication will occur over Discord.
You must be at least be 16+ upon applying for this zine. However, monetary compensation will only be given to those aged 18 or over unless there is a guardian to receive them.
Make sure you review the zine schedule so you know that you can commit to the timeline!
Extensions will be allowed as long as you communicate with the mods.
You are allowed to apply for more than one position, but can only be accepted for a maximum of one. If accepted, you will receive an acceptance email for the position, but you will still receive a separate rejection email for each position you are rejected from.
PAGE ARTISTS
3 completed pieces that best showcase your style and artistic ability.
Traditional media is accepted, so long as the scan is high-quality and to the standard your final piece will be scanned in with if it’s traditional.
An example of IDV (preferably Joseph) art is encouraged, though not required.
You must also submit a portfolio. This can be a GDrive link, an Instagram account, a Tumblr tag, or anything else that allows us to easily view your portfolio of completed work.
If you submit any GDrive links or similar links, make sure that they’re set so we can view them. We will have to disregard any pieces we cannot access.
Please refrain from applying with NSFW work for your 3 highlighted pieces. If there is NSFW in your portfolio, that is acceptable so long as you warn us properly in the application.
MERCH ARTISTS
3 completed pieces that best showcase your style and artistic ability. Try to cater towards the merch you are applying for (ex: you want to do a sticker sheet, an individual sticker, or a print, so you submit an example of a sticker sheet you designed and a piece that you think works as a print). Merch artists will design two pieces of merch each, and this will be assigned based on your interest shown in the application.

Hi there, I'm Kanz! A fellow Joseph simp excited to bring this project to life! I've started playing IDV because of Joseph and am still staying because of him despite not being a hunter main. I have also found myself to be a sucker towards immortalized hot grandpas and I blame Joseph for it.This is my first time ever modding a zine after contributing as artists to various zines (Genshin Impact included) so I had Freyja, an experienced mod who modded one of the zines I was in, join to help me out!
Hello, I'm Freyja! I'm an avid lover of writing, zines, and Joseph (loyal Joseph main since I started IDV), so being a part of this zine is a dream. I'm beyond excited to see this project come to life! When not writing, playing Genshin, or crying over rank matches in IDV, I can be found drinking copious amounts of bubble tea and feeding into my love of gacha.
